Shipping & Delivery
Signature Requirement
You must be present at the time of delivery and sign the delivery slip (Bill of Lading) to confirm the receipt of your products.
Curbside Delivery
Factory Floors 2 U offers curbside delivery to your home. Once the delivery is made, it is your responsibility to move the materials from the curb to your home. The delivery driver or helper is not allowed to enter your home or assist with moving the materials
Scheduling Delivery
Once your order leaves our warehouse, the carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery date and time. Tracking information will be sent to you after the order has shipped.
Rerouting Charges
If you request a change of delivery address after placing the order, additional re-routing charges will apply. Contact Factory Floors 2 U for the re-routing rate before making any changes.
Missed Deliveries
If the carrier cannot reach you to schedule a delivery or if you are not available at the time of delivery, additional shipping and storage fees will be charged.
At the Time of Delivery
Inspect the Shipment: Check the cartons for any visible damage upon delivery.
Count the Cartons: Verify that the number of cartons matches the Packing Slip attached to your order.
Document Damage: If you notice damage or missing items, make a note on the delivery slip (Bill of Lading) and, if possible, take pictures. Failing to mark any damage on the Bill of Lading at the time of delivery may prevent us from filing a claim.
Confirm Receipt: Sign the delivery slip to confirm receipt of your products, even if they are damaged.
Damaged Items: For damaged items, please contact us by phone or email to arrange a replacement.
Verifying & Tracking Your Order
Order Accuracy: It is the responsibility of the customer to verify the accuracy and quantity of their order. After placing your order, you will receive an email confirmation, which serves as your receipt. Please review the confirmation carefully.
Changes or Discrepancies: If you find any discrepancies or need to make changes to your order, contact us within 3 hours of placing your order. Once this 3-hour window has passed and the order is in processing, changes cannot be guaranteed.
Tracking Information: After your order leaves our warehouse, you will receive an email with your tracking number and carrier details.
Delivery Communication: All communication regarding the delivery status and scheduling will be handled directly with the transportation company.
Sales Tax
If you're ordering online, sales tax may apply to your shipping. Factory Floors 2 U collects sales tax for all orders shipped to Illinois. Additional taxes may apply depending on local tax codes and laws, but these are not collected by our company. Customers are advised to check with their local state tax board regarding the reporting of taxable internet purchases.
If you are a contractor or retailer with a valid Illinois resale license, please contact our sales department for information on utilizing your resale permit to waive the sales tax.
For shipments within Illinois, tax rates are based on the current rate for your county. Items sent to APO/FPO military addresses or to states outside Illinois are not subject to sales tax.
